This information is summarized in a position description document approved by Holt WorldWide (HoltWW) and presented to potentially interested candidates.
- Identification of target companies and market intelligence: By internal and external survey, HoltWW determines which persons qualify for the position concerned. Systematic research is conducted into previously selected sectors of business and professional groups. Finally "industry sources" are consulted, trusted confidants of HoltWW, who have insight into relevant companies and functional groups.
- Interviews and assessment of candidates: After a number of possible candidates have been identified, HoltWW interviews them in order to find out whether the candidates meet the requirements of the position so that you are fully informed and can provide guidance to us in the evaluation of potential candidates. We refine the search as necessary, based upon the feedback we receive from you.
- Presentation of selected candidates to the Client: HoltWW will prepare a Confidential Candidate Report on the candidates, who are eventually brought into contact with you. This report concerns personal and professional information on the candidate, as well as an evaluation of the candidate for the particular position.
- Assistance with the final selection of candidates: We introduce the candidates selected during the previous phase to the client, and assist in the interview stage as well as in the final negotiation with the one chosen. You are, of course, responsible for the final choice of a candidate.
- Reference Checking: We consider reference checking to be a critical step in the assessment process but we cannot make inquiries that might jeopardize a candidate's current employment. Preliminary informal market soundings will have indicated that each candidate submitted is worthy of your consideration. Final formal reference checks will be conducted in depth at the point of hire.
Candidate Competence: We screen candidates carefully, and we only recommend those we feel meet our client's specifications.
Understanding Client Needs: Before seeking candidates, we work closely with you to understand your company environment, ambitions, overall vision, and your competitors. As we work with you, we will clarify the positions and qualifications of the individuals you seek.
